My Work
Every project starts with a conversation and ends with a system that pays for itself. Here's what I've built so far.
Midway has been a Hiawatha National Forest landmark since 1971 — a cathedral-pine store with a stone fireplace, a resident taxidermy coyote named The Professor, and some of the best pizza in the UP. They had zero online presence. I fixed that.
Linda's Bread Box carries everything from bread to bait to sporting goods for the Cooks community. I built out a full Shopify storefront and paired it with automation that handles the busywork in the background, so the storefront runs itself between visits.
Grand Marais Mercantile sits at the quiet end of Pictured Rocks — gifts, Michigan honey and gourmet food, vintage finds, and local art. I built a site with a custom design system pulled straight from the store's own barn quilt, paired with automation that keeps the review inbox handled.
Baldy Shores Kayaking already runs one of the strongest small-business sites in the area — real blog content, solid directory presence, genuinely happy customers. When the owner expanded into cabin rentals on Baldy Lake, the job wasn't a rebuild, it was a bridge: tying the new properties into the site that already works, so paddlers can plan a full stay without ever leaving Baldy Shores.
U.P. Trading and The Exclusive Moose share a single doorway in downtown Newberry: Yooper apparel and gifts on one side, American-made furniture and home decor on the other. I built a hand-coded site for the storefront and stood up a full Square Online store behind it, loading their entire 2,800-item catalog so they can flip products live the moment photos come in — on their schedule, not all at once.
I'm just getting started. Every UP business I work with becomes part of this portfolio — and every site gets launched in person, from inside your store. Want to be next?
